WVTF Public Radio, owned by the Virginia Tech Foundation, is managed through the Office of University Relations. However, the station management makes the news and programming decisions. The radio station provides high-quality, listener-supported news and music programming to an area that includes Charlottesville, the Southern Shenandoah Valley, Roanoke, Southwest Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia.
