Dreamweaver and HTML Templates

Template Changes

master.dwt.html

• Replaced master.dwt.html with three new master files: master_horizontal.dwt.html, master_vertical.dwt.html, and master_fluid.dwt.html. These new master files make it possible to customize the other templates in design view.

All templates but the master templates.

• Added a host of new template properties, all accessible from the Template Properties dialogue box in design view. Template properties include a variety of "variables" including unit link, unit name and criteria for searching your domain space.
• Added repeating regions to templates with vertical navigation, for ease of editing.

Stylesheet Changes

• Consolidated all template specific stylesheets into one stylesheet called screen.css.
• Folded styles in the Internet Explorer specific stylesheets back into the other stylesheets, and deleted the Internet Explorer stylesheets.
• Modified various other styles in keeping with recent style changes on the Virginia Tech website.

Unit Headers
