In the classroom, Denise Young teaches students to hone their writing skills and prepares them to take part in the collaborative and creative process of writing, editing, and designing. In University Relations, she practices exactly that, serving as the assistant editor and a contributing writer for the Virginia Tech Magazine. Additionally she produces the monthly VT NetLetter electronic newsletter.
