Audio gallery: Pylon Memorial Ceremony
Virginia Tech graduate, alumni of the Corps of Cadets, and U.S. Marine Corps Capt. David Seth Mitchell, was killed in October 2009 while supporting combat operations in Afghanistan.
On April 9, 2010, his name was added to the Virginia Tech Ut Prosim Pylon at the War Memorial, which honors Virginia Tech alumni who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect this country.
